Advertising Programs

There's no denial. I have Google AdSense embedded on this blog. But i have no ill intention of 'redirecting' you to the sponsors to earn a few more cents. Thank you if you did visit them.

Here's my 5 point thoughts on all advertising programs.

1. Sponsored ads are meant to help advertisers to increase their brand awareness and ultimately increase the sales
2. If sponsored links does not add value to the reader, it should be removed.
3. Ads featured on the web is a way to motivate web owners to produce more quality contents for the readers.
4. No one should be mislead to click on ads. (There was once multiple browsers pop-up on every site. Thanks to techies for developing filters. Or else we will still spend much of our time closing these annoying ads)
5. Ads should never overshadow the content & layout of the site.

These are simple guidelines that i feel every blog or web owner should strive for. The Internet will be a better place to surf if every web owner stick to these guidelines.
